Watch: Andre Russell hits 107-metre long six in Major League Cricket match | Cricket News

during Los Angeles Knight Riders, Major League Cricket Match against (MLC) San Francisco Unicorns on Sunday, Andre Russell Russell could easily have argued that the maximum shot he hit to go from 30 to 36 deserved more than six runs. It was such a big shot that Russell's teammate Shakib Al Hasan could only smile in amazement.
This 107 meter long ball stood outside the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas.
Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf was bowling the final over of the Knight Riders' innings; and on the third ball of the over, West Indies all-rounder Russel bowled a short delivery that took the angle and went over long-on, and the power behind the stroke caused the ball to go over the roof.
His reaction left Shakib and a few other Knight Riders players sitting in the dugout surprised.

But despite Russell's unbeaten inning of 40 runs off 25 balls, Knight Riders could only score 165 runs for 6 wickets.
This pursuit proved to be an easy meal for the unicorns.
New Zealand opener Finn Allen hit 63 off 37 balls and added 116 for the second wicket with Matthew Short (58 off 26 balls) to guide his side to a six-wicket win with 4.2 overs to spare.
