In a statement issued on Wednesday, the PCB confirmed the termination of the roles of both selectors in the national selection committee.
“The Pakistan Cricket Board has informed Abdul Razzaq and Wahab Riaz that their services will no longer be required in the National Selection Committee,” the statement said.
Razzaq had been serving as a member of both the men's and women's selection committees, while Wahab remained a key figure in the men's seven-member selection committee, even after being removed as panel head earlier this year. Both have now been relieved of their duties.
